Farewell

There's something about bidding farewell.
Something very innate,
Something very touchy,
A thing very different.
But all we can do to such days is by saying-
It was indeed very special, but hard to say ADIOS.
Let's hope it is just till I meet all of them again :)

Words fall less for this picture.

Moving out of a headspace that is extra vulnerable to worries

Worries.. something that does not allow you to do any productive work in your life!

Can we avoid it.. How?

Letting your “big” worry out into the light and talking about it with someone
close to you...
it becomes a whole lot easier to see the situation or issue for what it
really is.

Just venting for a few minutes can make a big difference and after a while you
may start to wonder what you were so worried about in the first place, was not that important.

Sometimes the other person may only have to listen as you work through the
situation yourself out loud.

At other times it can be very helpful to let the other person ground you and help
you find a more practical and useful perspective on the situation at hand. And the
two of you can work together to find small steps you can take to improve upon the
situation that worries you.

If you do not have anyone to talk to at the moment about the worry bouncing
around in your mind then let it out by writing about it...

Write and fight.. Cmon :)

Who make a difference

At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each one of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.

There is something beautiful about this time, where I hv started to cherish every moment of my college life  !!
Will these days come back, I constantly wonder .. :p

The fun, the giggles, the canteen gupshup, lecture, practicals, attendance, project work and report, training and placement office, hostel lounge, maggi, jeetu ki chai.. ufff and the list goes on and on.. till I take a sigh of grief...
It's time to say goodbye to all the above veryyyy soooon...

We get four years to be irresponsible here..to manage attendance and proxies, to look for answers in the phone during midsems, to rule the college with our vigilance.  How cool is that dude. Haha
Work is for people with jobs.
I may not remember the class time, but I'll surely remember the time I wasted hanging out with my friends. The work never ends, but college does...

Day 20
Walking with that supernatural confidence at 8:45am for the 8'o clock cloud computing lecture..
Asking doubts about Service level agreements and worrying only about the attendance in the end

9-10:30 Guest Lecture by the most cute lecturer we have in our dept Mr. A.N Muchrikar sir where we dive into the world of Web Services and Software Architectire, Real time examples depicting UDDI, WSDL and SOAP protocol.

10:30 - 11:30 Advanced Database where Unit 1 was under attack and our laughs fired every sec

11:30 Cache Coherency and its problem in Computer Architecture

12:30 Super feast at the canteen where apple orange are joked on and paratha and furma sabzi are finished at lighting speeds.. Thanks to my bhukkad gang

Then A surprise with the butterflies.. where I meet my TNP Mam and find out Barclays head is in college, Rohini Mam's praises make my and their day ..

Running towards AD lab and scoring 9/10 on my 4th last viva :( what a prep and a gala time on the star Uml gift for Neha's wedding and proxy generation code for saniya's.. epic..
Soda ka pudina and kala khatte waala wo banda.. sab tha fanda..
Coming back home with plants surprise and some Bylakuppe exploration with extra masti at badminton with the pallacio gang..

A quick explanation to one of the last 20 days for my first college life..
I am happy to say "It's not over yet"

My TNPs tips to Smart Studying

Trying to learn a new skill? Cramming late, devoting a whole day to nothing but bio, reading that training manual 20 times?

You’re doing it wrong. So very, very wrong.

Nailing the art of studying right can be a scientific task. Two professors — Henry Roediger and Mark McDaniel at the Washington University in St. Louis — and author Peter Brown condensed the best study knowledge, based on scientific papers published over the past few years, in a new book, Make It Stick: The Science of Successful Learning. Roediger distilled his 6 top tips for successful learning. We’re talking the best ways to retrain new knowledge for the long haul.

Pull up a seat, and start taking notes.

1. Take those notes by hand.

That’s right: Go Luddite. In a board meeting or a freshman survey hall, think pen and paper. ”When typing, students tend to record information as though they were taking dictation,” Roediger says. Handwriting is slower, ”so they have to think harder about the material to distill it,” he says, discussing a study just published this April. So yes, it might seem painful to put pen to paper in class, but you’ll save study time in the end.

2. Don’t study — practice.

Stop re-reading the same passage 20 times. Searching your brain for what you’re trying to remember keeps things fresher. In one of Roediger’s own studies, subjects who took a test were more likely to do better on a subsequent test then those who studied. It’s not just about remembering the information, but using the brain muscles to practice retrieving the information too. That’s what a test — and real life — requires of us.

3. Pace yourself.

Cramming puts a lot of info your head, fast, but it also leads to fast forgetting. “Spacing helps embed learning in long-term memory,” Roediger says.

4. Sleep on it.

If you never want to think about conjugating French verbs again, pull an all-nighter before a test. But if you’ve got info you want to keep for the long haul, plan some zzz’s. Your brain needs time to catch up and process all you’ve stuffed in there. Sleep is when it happens.

5. Multi-task subjects.

Maybe you’ve got finals this week in history, bio and psych. Yuck. If you’ve only got three days to study, don’t tackle just one subject a day, Roediger says. Devote a bit of time every day to each of the subjects, and you’re more likely to ace those tests. Roediger cites a 2012 study that says we’re more likely to confuse similar things when studied together — like if you’re trying to cram on the differences between four kinds of biological processes that all kind of sound the same — than if we break the biology up a bit with something else.

6. Test yourself.

These are the professor’s words, not ours. ”Make up practice tests and take them repeatedly as you study,” he says. This goes back to tip No. 2 — finding ways to pull things from your mind. Plus, this way, you’ll learn what you need to work on.

Good timing I must say.. #LastExamsForMyFirstCollegeLife

Woman's Worth

Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.
She can do almost anything which she has set her mind to, She can swim the deepest oceans and climb the highest peaks....
She can face adversity and still walk tall.
She is strong, beautiful, compassionate and much more than my words could ever say.
Happy Women's Day

It's amazing

I feel sweet, do you feel sweet? It's amazing
I have no skin and I feel everything, it's amazing
I feel good when you feel good
I knew I would and it's amazing

We shall rise with the sun
And spend our time as one
Now there is no sin in anything
And it's amazing

I love life, I hope you do too
'Cause I love everything, it's all amazing

I feel you, do you feel you?
I understand when they say we're born again
'Cause I feel born again
I'm born again and it's amazing

And it's the best thing, it's glorious
It's life changing, this feeling is amazing

It's in the stars, in the sun
It's everywhere, in everyone
And it will be every day
From now on, from now on
We are one and it's amazing

"Sunsetssssssssss for a new beginning and understanding"

This is what the sky had to offer today
Orange, pearly pink, tangyyy purple immersing in me
Dusk is just an illusion because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And that means that day and night are linked in a way that "few things are there cannot be one without the other"

Feeling to be always together yet forever apart...
Beautiful

Do I know myself?

We believe we know ourselves quite well, but when we take a deeper look within we may discover a good many things that we do not know. Perhaps we're surprised at the existence of some beautiful,  positive qualities such as compassion,  understanding,  love, humility, patience, discipline, sincerity,  determination,  contentment,  joy and deep, inner bliss.
As we become more and more aware of these qualities,  we find in them a great help for our self.
So Inner renunciation is the most important renunciation. .
If I have not inwardly renounced my efforts, external renunciation will be unsuccessful.
